Client Management
Invite a Client
- Go to the "Clients" tab in the left-hand navigation menu, which takes you to the Client Overview page.

Click or tap "Invite New Client" in the top right corner. On the next screen, enter your client's name, email address, and an optional invitation message. Your client will automatically receive a personalized email invitation.
- Note: If a client does not receive their notification, go to the Clients tab in the left-hand navigation menu, which takes you to the Client Overview page. You will see cards for all of your active and invited clients. Double-check that you sent this particular client an invitation, and that their email was entered correctly. In addition, have the client check their spam folder. If the client still hasn't received their invitation, please reach out to us at digitalsupport@guilford.com.
View Client Details
- Go to the "Clients" tab in the left-hand navigation menu, which takes you to the Client Overview page.
- Click or tap "Open Profile" on any active client's card to view their name, email, phone number, completed Diary Cards, previously assigned Skills, previously assigned Skills Groups, and their completed Crisis Form.
Diary Cards
Create and Assign a Diary Card
- To create a new custom Diary Card, go to the "Diary Card" in the left-hand navigation menu and click or tap "Create Diary Card" in the top right corner. You'll be guided through the standard sections of Marsha Linehan's classic Diary Card: Emotions, Urges to Act and Behavior, and Skills, with an optional section for additional questions or comments.
- Select the Emotions you want to appear on the Diary Card. You can add a custom emotion by clicking "Add Emotion" in the top right corner.
- Select the Urges to Act and Behaviors you want to appear on the Diary Card. You can add custom Urges/Behaviors by clicking "Add Urges to Act & Behavior" in the top right corner.
- Select the Skills you want to appear on the Diary Card. You can add a custom Skill by clicking "Add Skill" in the top right corner.
- The final section is Additional Questions. Toggle "Medications" to "on" (green) if you want the Medications question to appear on the Diary Card. Use the "Additional Questions and Notes" box to add open-ended questions to the card; for example, "Any notes or reflections?" or "Which Skill was the most helpful today?"
- After you've created a Diary Card, you'll see a preview of it. On the Preview screen, click or tap "Assign to Client" in the bottom right corner and select the client(s) of your choice. You can create new Cards to assign to your clients as often as you wish.
View Completed Diary Cards
- Go to the "Clients" tab in the left-hand navigation menu, which takes you to the Client Overview page.
- Click or tap "Open Profile" on the client's card. Under their General Information, you'll see their Diary Cards section.
- Click or tap any of the "Open Diary Card" buttons to see a week of their completed Diary Card entries.
Group Management
Create a Skills Group
- Navigate to the "Groups" tab in the left-hand navigation menu
- Click or tap "Create New Group."
- Enter a Description of the Skills Group and select the start date.
- Assign the leader (or co-leaders) and choose the participants from your list of registered clients.
- Click or tap "Assign Skill to Group" to browse the DBT Skills Library and select the right skills for that group.
- Note: When creating your skills groups, you'll be able to add the names of co-leaders not in your practice using the free text entry box. Please note, this will not allow them to access the Guilford Digital for DBT platform, but will serve as a reference for your convenience.
View or Edit an Existing Skills Group
- Click on "Groups" in the left-hand navigation menu.
- Click or tap "Open Group" on any Group card. There, you can view and edit the description, start date, participants, group leader(s), and assigned Skills. If a Group is no longer meeting, you can also deactivate it here.
Skills Library
Assign Skills to Clients or Groups
- Click "Skills Library" from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Navigate to the skill you want to assign.
- Click the three dots on the skill card and select "Assign skill to client" or "Assign skill to group."
- Select the client/group with the checkbox or start typing the name/description to filter the results.
- Click "Assign Skill" to send the assignment to the client/group.
- Note: You can also assign a skill to a client or group directly from an individual client's profile or the group details page.
Suicide Crisis Forms
Access Suicide Crisis Forms
- Click "Suicide Crisis Forms" in the left-hand navigation menu. Here you can access the LRAMP and a Crisis Plan template.
- To view the static versions of the forms within the app, click "Open." For the fillable versions of the forms, click "Download PDF." Please note, Practice Admins and Clinicians cannot upload these filled-out documents back to the app; please save them externally, such as in a folder on your computer.
- To access a client's completed crisis form, navigate to their profile from the client dashboard. On their profile, you will find the most recently uploaded form under "Current Crisis Plan."
Data Analytics
View Analytics
- Open a client's profile from the client dashboard.
- Click "Open Statistics." You will see data visualizations of that client's Diary Card entries.
- Filter the Emotions, Urges to Act & Behavior, or Skills sections to view specific targets and correlations.
- Choose the time period from the tabs at the top of the screen to view different lengths of time.
Account Management and Billing
Update Personal Information
- Go to "My Profile" by clicking or tapping the profile icon at the top right corner of the page or the "Profile Management" tab in the left-hand navigation menu.
- From there, you can edit your name, degree, and contact information.
Change Your Password
- Tap "Forgot password" on the login screen.
- After you provide the email address associated with your account, a verification code will be sent to that address, and you'll be able to reset your password.
Cancel Your Subscription
- Click the "Profile Management" tab in the left-hand navigation menu.
- Click the "Subscription Management" tab and select "Cancel Plan." After you've canceled, your account will remain fully functional until the end of your monthly or annual billing cycle. No full or partial refunds are available.
- Note: If you are cancelling your subscription but wish to export your data, reach out to us at digitalsupport@guilford.com and it will be provided within 60 days.
Update your payment method
- To update your payment card on file, email digitalsupport@guilford.com.
- Note: To view your current subscription, click "Profile Management" from the left-hand navigation.
